Full Year Course
Available to grades: 10,11,12
Prerequisites: Automotive Mechanics with a grade of "C" or higher
In this course, students dive into the highest level of automotive systems an automotive technician would be exposed to in the field. This course focuses on live service work and a comprehensive breakdown of automotive systems, including: drivetrains, electrical theory and application, fuel systems, scan-tools and HVAC systems. Students have the option to become ASE 609 certified. In addition, students are trained in Welding: Oxy-fuel, MIG, and TIG welding. May have the opportunity to perform fabrication. Students will be exposed to shop operations through budgeting and billing for automotive services. This course is in alignment with NATEF standards. Course fee.
