Companion Animal Science 2

Prerequisites: Companion Animal Science 1

In this course students expand on concepts learned in Companion Animal Science 1 and explore college programs and careers working with animals. Students will study principles of anatomic systems, diseases, and basic veterinary care. Emphasis will be across all five groups of vertebrate animals. Course content is correlated to the Illinois State Colleges admission lab science program of Biological Science Applications in Agriculture – Animal Sciences. May be used for Science credit. This course will be granted CTE credit only for members of the class of 2023+. Course fee
