Exploring AI

Through collaborative problem-solving projects, students will explore how humans can leverage AI aligned with student interests to address complex real-world challenges and express creativity. This course invites all students, regardless of their future career path, to master the essential skills needed to navigate an AI-driven world. Beyond simply learning to use tools, students will become critical consumers of technology, learning to evaluate the validity, ethics, and potential bias of AI outputs. Students will build a foundational understanding of how AI works, including how models are trained, how outputs are generated, and how to engineer prompts to solve problems using an authentic, human voice and perspective.
