The course provides a basic knowledge of elements and principles of design, textiles and how they relate to the fashion industry. It provides the student with the opportunity to study fashion designers and fashion history and apply this knowledge to the fashion industry today and in the future. Merchandising skills and career development will help students understand the fast-moving fashion industry and what is needed to be successful. May be used for Fine Arts credit.
