Workshop Studio is a year-long, advanced woodworking course where students will gain hands-on experience with wood turning (lathe work), spray finishing, advanced joinery, and panel construction while applying the engineering design process to real-world projects. In addition to traditional woodworking tools, students will work with industry-standard technologies such as laser engravers, CNC (computer numerical control) machines, and 3D printers. Successful completion may lead to OSHA 10 and ShopBot certification. Additional costs may be required for selected projects.
